The reason I became obsessed with denim
When I was raising my young child. Amidst our hectic daily life, I was searching for sturdy denim pants for outdoor play with my child.
I casually bought a pair of jeans I saw on an online store.
The jeans I bought on a whim turned out to be Levi’s 17501.
I’m so impressed by the different fabric thickness compared to the jeans I’ve worn before, and the feminine design of these jeans!
This experience made me fall in love with denim.
The reason I created the denim information site
The reason I started creating a denim information site was because of Takafumi Horie’s influence.
Reading my favorite author Takafumi Horie’s book “Zero: Adding Small Ones to the Nothingness of Myself” made me want to do something.
Takafumi Horie’s message during his speech at Kinki University also served as a major catalyst for me to take action and create a website.
Do not fear the future, do not cling to the past, live in the present.
I thought it was so cool! Being a simple soul, I was easily influenced and started creating an amazake information site, which I was obsessed with at the time.
After that, I became obsessed with jeans and launched this site.
